I was able to find my local Norton dealer today. He had cut back on building maintenance.

Unfortunately I must have not done up the Dzus fastener properly and my sidecover went skidding down the road.

‘72 Roadster front and center leading the pack of stablemates, ‘80 Honda CB750F
, ‘76 BMW R75/6, and , ‘07 Aprilia Tuono 1000R. All dusted off and gassed up with ethanol free premium in the last couple days. Riding weather with very little traffic on the back roads. No place open to stop and swill a beer mid ride however.

Very respectable collection. I still have my late kid brother's '80 CB750F, and my late best friend's '72 R75/5. Both "proper" classic bikes as I'm sure you are aware.‘72 Roadster front and center leading the pack of stablemates, ‘80 Honda CB750F, ‘76 BMW R75/6, and , ‘07 Aprilia Tuono 1000R.
yes, and it’s got more equipment in it than the Donnington shed ever had!!Actually I think that’s the new assembly building for the 650 Atlas and Superlight production...

Nice to be part of a group that, unlike some of my friends and relations, never says anything like: “Four motorcycles! What do you need four motorcycles for?! You can only ride one at a time!” Since this is the Norton Forum, and there were a couple of requests, here’s another couple of pics of the current version, my ‘72 slightly modified Roadster, acquired summer of 2017, along with a comparative shot of the one that, although not my first moto, was my first big road bike, and solidified my lifelong love affair with all things 2 wheeled, my also slightly modified 1971 Commando, circa 1974 or so. The ‘72 was the first, followed a year later by the Beemer, and then last summer by the Honda, of my effort to replicate some of the most notable bikes of my youth.
