Does anyone have a nice picture of a 961 in snow, that they wouldn't mind me getting made into a Christmas card for Motorvated Ltd this year?

Hello Richard , I am happy you kept your Norton 961. I thought maybe you would sell it when you bought your new bike.

Hi ya Tony , No couldnā€™t do that , with 33,000 miles on it now & the way the used bike market it over here , no dealer would want it as a trade in.

Apart from the clutch/balance shaft issue 5 yrs ago the bikes

be ok on the whole.

Ya gonna update the mileage thread Blighty - be a shame if we stopped populating that thread!šŸ‘

Great ride yesterday, albeit short. Mates still not quite back up to speed after his involuntary assisted dismount a while back from his Duc V4S, head butting a concrete bollard in the process. Bound to slow ya down for a while! šŸ«£

His response was to buy something even faster - makes sense really!

Worth keeping an eye on front sprocket cover (upper) wear for those doing a bit of mileage. Noticed tiny flecks of ally on my swing arm after the last ride, which Iā€™d experienced before so knew where it was coming from. Dress up - ride on.

Chain correctly adjusted. Maybe I need to lose a bit of weight, or set the suspension for a 90+kg bloke rather than The Stalkerā€™s 75-80 kg! Or get a suspension specialist to do it for me - gonna get around to that eventuallyšŸ™„! Also gave passing thought (again) to fitting the 17 tooth front sprocket; decided against it (again)! May fit a small sacrificial wear strip at some stage, if the problem persists.

Having a good look around whilst fitting single seat frame extensions - thanks Stu!šŸ‘ Anyone else fettling? Or riding even? Didnā€™t happen unless ya post a pic.

Yeah, they're all like that....dominator's tend to be worse.
Ahh, the Panther...that was a company pet. Had some nice bits on it too, the engine cases were billet, for example.
It was sold just before we went into administration, I got it ready to leave and took some photos. I rode that bike around the TT circuit, so was sad to her go.
She'd seen several rebuilds and updates over the years. I think the fly screen was damaged when someone from the NOC crashed her on road test.

Chris Walker the stalker at thundersprint.
I was there also on a Norton. Chris Walker was a bit faster then me.

Wanted a Black One - but couldn't say no to an unbelievable deal on this 961. How much per month, you wouldn't believe it!

Hello Wildrover , Does that deal carry a low amount of annual mileage you can ride it ? I thought I read that somewhere .
