Pictures of your Norton Commandos

In May 2014 I purchased some large lumps and a few boxes of a 1975 Commando 850 Mark 3 and a spare 750 Complete motor + more parts. Heres some pictures of what i dragged out of abarn after all had been standing for 25 plus years. I will post progress pictures of the rebuild. Not a concours resto
antcipated but a usable classic using OEM parts only (except for new premier amals)

Years ago I bought an old Fastback tail and fiberglass Interstate tank on Evilbay and converted my `71 Roadster into an "Interback".
Modified a Fastback seat from Leighton to fit the longer Interstate tank tank. Used a JPN front fender from Old Britts.
Painted everything in a Manx color scheme.

'Nice to see another bike with actual Interstate pipes attached. I'm probably just biased, but I like the looks of the horizontal pipes better. Some may argue that the upswept pipes give better cornering clearance, but the sidestand and/or centerstand drag on mine long before the pipes enter into the picture. Still, mschmitz57 sure has a handsome machine in silver.

Motoalchemist are they ACE bars? They seem, shallower i.e. less reach?

Wow! My turning point two years ago pales in comparison to yours and Grandpauls. I'm impressed!

Granted, mine was mostly for cosmetic reasons.

Keep those pictures coming!
