Bike is looking nice, Dave. Keep those miles accumulating sans issues, eh?(Dave's Yellow Peril"
Just saying hi! New to me late 72 Commando, spent 650 miles and 2 ferry rides in the van purchasing it. Kinda thought it was a rider, but not so much, oh well. (Lying) Pic after some cleaning and taken at the just right angle . I'm back in the fold after a 40 year absence, my last Norton was a "late 72 Commando" also. A good friend has THAT bike in beautiful condition. Hoping I can achieve rideable for this summer. Then dig into getting her looking and running as she should over winter. Prolly keep it mostly stock with a few reliability, quality of ride tweaks.
Just finished the ‘69 750 S and Illf8ed a ‘72 combat behind that I bought in ‘97 restored in ‘98 with 38,000 miles since.
