it is a A01 from LSL, it is made of Aluminium.
 
Very nice bike, Holger. I have an affinity for yellow Commandos. My first Norton was a yellow Commando, and I've liked that look ever since.

Who makes your twist grip and not to sound ignorant but what is a Koso lambda probe?
I also like the Moto Gadget accessories you have used.They make some nice units.

I’ve used lots of Motogadget stuff and have always been very impressed with it.

I haven’t tried those clocks though. Were they difficult to wire in ?

Hi Mike,
sorry, I do not know the maker of the twist grip, it was already on the bike.
For jetting the (older mens) VM 34 carb, for me (an older man (see post #2,251)) it seemed to be more comfortable to see the a/f ratio on a display, than to unscrew the Spark plugs several times. When I bought the bike, there was a 280 main jet installed. With the 260 I have a a/f ratio 13.3 at full throttle wich should be ok.
The Koso probe is not a wide band type, but it shows numbers from 12.2 to 17. So for me it works fine, and it is relatively cheap.
On the first picture you can see the nut for the probe at the right exhaust manifold in the 120° bend.

The twist grip is a common type used on Speedway bikes, Joker, Venhill and Gasser come to mind but there are many others too. Beware some are fast action.

I fitted a quick action throttle to my fj1200 rigid chop it made it rather lively off the line with 130bhp and weighing just over 400lb !
 
Tried the flat bars on risers today, not bad.

Have some of Holgers LSL bars on the way to try next.

This is the after.

Was only a gentle canter though.

The pre load is a bit stiff for the road, it’s doing a track day at the weekend though, so I’ll leave it be for now, then soften it up a bit.
