Certainly one of the best looking machinesJust made some changes:
View attachment 94314
- Fitted black headlight bucket & instrument buckets (Matt's new CNC ones)
- Fitted black brake plate & RH rear wheel cover (both these & above parts done with the 2K epoxy can in satin black)
- Fitted red tank & side covers bought from our @Dellis - gives quite a different look, I think.
Looks really good.Just made some changes:

Hi Rob,@Dellis - It's just Matt's build with the Showa forks - unfortunately they have longer sliders. That means less travel for the ride height.
I have done 7500 miles now on our local roads (read - not good) and it really hasn't been a problem, so they must be really good forks.
I changed the rear to Nitron R3's and that was a great improvement - real kidney savers.
More travel probably would be better on the front but this really isn't bad.
Cheers
Out of curiosity, how much travel do they allow for?@Dellis - It's just Matt's build with the Showa forks - unfortunately they have longer sliders. That means less travel for the ride height.

Sorry for the tardy reply - I measured then got waylaid.Out of curiosity, how much travel do they allow for?
I regularly get > 3.5" of travel on my forks with spirited riding, as I rode with a zip tie on the stanchion for a while.
I have a Nitron on my Duc, great unit.
Beautiful!
Yup, just fitted fresh cable and finally got nice speedo needle movement after two yrs. Still need to change cable routing to take up that slack.Beautiful, like the tank.
Speedo cable looks quite low?
