well on my screen, that is coming through loud and clear..and loaded!:D

I heard in years gone by, you could, at the drop of a hat, load up your bike and proceed to travel anywhere you wanted. The good old days, huh?

MAK, your VIP membership is a success sir.

And that‘s a mightily impressive touring set up you’ve got there. Care to share some details?

The tank bag and cover are from Baglux/Bagster,bag is a City and is quite small but big enough for spare gloves maps etc.
The cover is a Universal but has a slight problem in that it’s quite stretchy so a bigger bag would be too heavy as it would pull to one side.
Bag also has a small map pocket.

The pannier rails are from a Hinckley Bonneville and required bending to enable them to pick up the bottom mount.I am going through the process of having them replicated in stainless as the top eyelet mount has started to crack.
The panniers are Kriega and are very well made. They have loops on the back which the rails pass through.
Have to un-bolt top mount to fit and remove pannier.Working on a better method.

Well, not my Nortons, but this was at the factory in 2017 I believe. the reason I was there was meeting a mate taking his Dominator Naked (furthest from the camera) to have some issues resolved, plus a track morning at the nearby Donnington park, after staying the night in the priest house hotel. Lovely place for sure!

6.30 am, blue skies, warm but with a cool breeze. Early morning birds in full song. Cup of coffee before I meet up with lads and go for a blast into View attachment 78832the Sunshine Coast hinterland! Feck! Does it get any better than that!?:D
OK, all the blue sky bullshit must have cursed me! This is me now, broken down whilst trying to limp home on my electrically stricken CR!! Waiting for the tow truck! Fuck, you have to be an enthusiast to own this bike!!!

I’ve got a 150+ mile route planned with a mate tomorrow.

Can’t really afford the time off work but the weather looks great, so f**k it let’s ride !!
I have days owing, so heading south till I hit the sea, then left or right, not sure! 'f**k it, lets ride' indeed! I'll be taking the speed triple.

Spring has finally arrived here too. Short lived though apparently, so I made the most of it as I have a few days off work. In the background of one picture you'll see a Bloodhound Missile which is situated at a disused missile site near where I live.
