Putting one out there for Willie.

Did you get the cap tight or does it spill when tank is completely full?
I have the monza cap on both my Naked and Commando. Neither have leaked or caused me any problems.
I usually fill the tank about 1” below the opening. Never a spill.

Update.
I forgot to mention.
I used a flat rubber gasket from a new automobile oil filter that’s about 1/8” thick to align the monza cap where I liked it and it seals tight without any leaks.

And I sealed in addition the vent hole in the cap with glue...

Interesting.
I never had an issues with any fuel seeping from the monza cap. But that might be because I only fill it 1” from the top of the tank. Or I’ll fill it to the flat surface inside the tank. (Meaning the flat surface area inside the tank visible when you open the cap).

My Monza cap leaked like a sieve, had to tighten the cap much more than the standard and glue the vent holes. Now its perfect, if I rock the bike violently the only fuel leak is via the tank vent hose.

Thanks guys. Got all the suggested upgrades done - coil, wires, tranny vent, cam and head temp sensors, etc. So far so good.
Most of my other bikes are numbered ducati's or homologation specials, but it was love at first sight when I first saw the domiracer several years ago.
Only other bike in the stable in a similar category to the SS is my Sport Classic. Both fun in their own right. Look forward to my continued education on this forum.
