Halcyon days in the factory when u could see/chat / touch the heart of all things Norton , early 2017
No Tony, just a few acres tucked away before Mr Dyson bought the other few thousand around me.Hello MXMartin , Do you have a farm ?
Commendable, not keen on seeing one loaded like a mule but great to see one being used in earnest. Hat's off to you. Here's mine : I took off the side bags and am running the tail pack. I like to carry some tools , rain suit , exrtra gloves , spray cleaner and microfibre cloths for cleaning face shield and bike . I wonder if I should start a new thread " I finally have 15,000 miles on my Norton 961 " Running Strong !
For "mule" read crossbred, strong, reliable but sorry, not my idea of what a bike is about, although I admire those that adventure on bikes still. The 961 works well as a “ mule “ fully loaded & two up in 40 degree CView attachment 15661View attachment 15662View attachment 15663
Here is my 961, I am one of the lucky seven to have a Mick Grant Special.
Love the pics. Your mate with the Aston isn't called Stuart something is he ?Here's few pictures of Domi #39. Had recent handlebar conversion from the ill-fated Dominator Street parts bin.....reversible, but a better ride. Got a Domiracer front mudguard and throttle quadrant cover plus tail tidy & baffles from Sean R. Lot of warranty work dealt with extremely well by Norton (broken Megaphone pipe, oil issues following breather mod...) Now waiting to get it through the MoT test once this CV epidemic is over....
With mate's AM..
Handlebars...
Handlebars outside Norton workshop...
And as original...
N York Moors with Italians...
looks like I'm not clever enough to add a pic yet! But I did this....
