Well all this downer Norton woe's talk, wanted me to get my Norton Grin back...

and back it is.

Got the seat Re-upholstered !! pillion is same black with red saddle stitch.

Just got my bike back from the factory - a very strange experience. The administrator on site Pete could not have been more helpful and made sure my bike was charged and ready to go. A few months ago got them to paint a graphic on the tank which I am very pleased with. Also got a new custom Davida helmet ready for the wonderful summer to come....

Don't get me wrong I don't completely dislike the sound of the stumpies - they remind me of a whoopee cushion I used to play with when I was young.....

“ Dreamland “ theme park is 100 years old , built by “Sir Henry Illes” after being inspired by a trip to Coney Island , & this bar next door is my local, 2 minute walk from seaside retreat or a 30 second blast on the #Norton961, sun was out & 8 degrees centigrade, out again tomorrow so let’s have some more pics everyone!

On way back back from the annual MOT test ( ministry of transport) which us brits have to tolerate once a year when bike reaches 3 years old .
I stopped by here for a photo opp, the planes are inside the building & couldn’t get the bike inside without anyone noticing, RAF Manston was also a full blown USAF base in the fifties,lot of americans married local girls & took em back to the states

I didn't get the chance to ride mine home, this is first pick after it was rolled off the van and that is Ice on the tarmac! I did manage a sneak pre-reg ride a few weeks later once I sorted the brake conversion. Looks a lot different now compared to then....

Well the government hasn’t actually specified not to use motorcycle, so off on an essential shopping trip to “Waitrose “today , complete with a top box ( amazing what those Chinese do for £20 delivered), as I couldn’t fit much in I’ll have to go back again tomorrow & the next day to get the rest.

They’ll be sought after collectors items when these bikes are being restored to ‘factory’ condition... in 40 or 50 years time...
