The lithe Norton and Harley don’t half make that Guzzi look BIG !!

Heck, it just made me describe a Harley as Lithe...!!!

It is huge! Changing subject, my Harley has open ended 2:2 Supertrapps with minimal baffling and is pretty loud but the wife says the Snortin Norton is much much louder and she can hear me coming home from the top of our lane (2 miles straight, gunning through the gears) whereas she only hears the Harley as I pull into the drive! The Guzzi I can't hear at all, I only know it's running 'cos the rev counter moves and it shakes side to side lol

I like the guzzi , as an everyday bike , have you had an EML light issues with your Norton ?

I did initially have the eml on but that was solved once I had the cat taken off and the shorties and remap. Now it runs well. I would say that you need to keep that battery well topped up though at all times, because if you have any starting issues, that battery runs down damn quickly.

Very nice, see you have changed the mirrors, may do that myself sometime. Nice little black & white reg plate would do nicely

I’ve never had the standard mirrors on, never used bar end ones before on any bike but they look good and work ok. You may be right about the plate just to enhance what I think to be one of the best rear ends on any motorcycle.

Not a very exciting shot this foggy morning, but reupholstered seat now fitted :). Air cushion back in the cupboard.

Early Summer evening ride out with Essex NOC to the “Norton” in Cold Norton Essex. I guess some of these would also go on the classics section.

This is the problem for bikes like the Guzzi, it has become sanitized by the law makers - they do that to the Harleys, as they all have to pass the Californian laws.

Got my two wheels back today ,rode 200 miles back & stopped to cast my vote this evening , how many other voters cast there vote on a norton today ? ,of course I can’t tell u which of the dozen plus euro wannabes got my vote, but let’s just say I’m in favour of bringing back “ vicar & tarts parties” complete with a can of “watneys party seven bitter under me arm, pound of apples on the market,22yards to a wicket & 15 hands to a horse.

Glad you're in time for the season, Richard. Rubber to the road, shiny side up. You Sir, are B.A.

Is that an EU symbol on yer licence plate? Yertrata lol. God see you back and that the snortin norton is a happy bunny again!
Not for long Mark, off to Normandy 2 weeks Thursday with 6 other bikes, plan is to ditch our EU stickers on the eurotunnel train for these beauties, well it’s my plan they don’t know it yet!
Latest moronic rule for bikers in France is you must have motorcycle gloves with a EU approval tag on them or risk another on 68 euro fine (45 euro if u cough up quickly),a mate I’m going with got escorted to a cash point in Calais by a gendarme ( French cop ) so he could pay the 50 euro fine for not having his V5 ownership document on him ,this was on a day trip to visit his grandfathers grave ( who was killed fetching water in WW1) really breathtaking in there own temerity

A friend of mine went on a camping tour through France last year to keep the costs down but reckoned he clocked up enough fines to have paid for 4* accommodation lol
