It's great that there are still craftsmen about the territory.
I love the Kneeling Norton, would love to take it out for a few laps.
That thin rubber pad doesn't look like a very good cushion for the shins though.

Never mind the bruised shins… 1 hour at an average 133mph… in 1953… from a 500cc single...

Impressive.

Indeed. The Lowboy is very interesting. Can anybody read the last word on the information sheet? ….no top Yolk (sic) as per Moto Guzzi ……something………

Gambalunga... the model name... meaning long leg ( long stroke motor)
 
We lost count of the number of bikes in there & tried to estimate a value , we couldn’t, the place is priceless , only agreed on in the “multi millions £ “
If I had stayed there a bit longer maybe I could of gone for the “Cosworth” engine upgrade.

Interesting that they have a Challenge engine… there was a Challemge for sale recently, complete except for engine… crying out for a marriage I’d say !
 
Whitstable on north Kent coast today , just a short 60 Mile excursion to the home of seafood , Curtis you would love it , oysters, whelks,jellied eels ,lobsters, crabs & in fact all things fishy, this harbour area-has been a harbour for centuries , £10 for Cod & Chips take out , “ Your having it away “ I said , we know it’s called the corvid catch up !

Yes Tony , & Malcolm top left, & re bout my bike falling over , let’s just say 100n/m torque on rear wheel axel is enough to prevent wheel coming loose if u ride off with a padlock & chain still attached to a hotel fire escape!
