Thanks for the nudge, muffugga. Just sent the Inquiry and awaiting reply. I am so totally in.
By the way, where can I get a new replacement fuel pump gasket if need be? Might not, but would like to be prepared. Can't hurt.

Its a Bosch pump - see Alternative Parts List - so replacement O-ring from Bosch I would imagine?

Size in mm. 89.69x5.33 worked for me with no leaks.
Small amount of silicone grease to hold it in place.

And I'm glad about that, buddy!
One thing is evident here, no one is in praise of the plastic tank. In our minds it isn't future proof and in our hearts its .. well .. err .. umm .. simply not British! (There, I said it)
BTW, my bike and also my beautiful British, handmade alloy tank is back home in my workshop.
And something I hadn't realised was how light in weight these tanks are.
I'll be fitting it soon and snap some pix, but you've all seen it anyway at TAB!
I've been thinking about decals, too. I was gonna go 'black' but I like the look of Voodoo's NOAFT, in gold with matching pinstripe.
I'll be asking TAB what their contact can do.

Ideally I want the tank polished, with the Norton logo and pin striping painted on in black or gold. It was done for the original Norton ally tank so I guess it must be possible.
This guy has had the tail unit painted or wrapped which looks pretty cool. With some more thought to the design, the dual seat unit could look much more cohesive with the polished ally tank. Does’nt work with the yellow for me, but with black should look pretty awesome.

I can certainly vouch for Brent's work...he was the one who painted my Factory alloy tank. The tank and the Norton decals were sent directly to Brent from the Factory by Rob Jameson. The pinstriping is all Brent's handiwork!
