Hi all, the manufacturers now have a plastic tank and fuel pump. And the process is underway. I'll be contacting them again next week and will provide a more detailed update then.

Are these tanks still going ahead? This thread has gone very quiet. The future changes to increase ethonal in fuel is making me consider the option of changing to an aluminium tank!

I PMed him a week ago, and this was his response. I think we just have to have patience.

"Hi Ken there hasn't been any progress for quite a while from the builder covid has hit one of his suppliers really badly. Sorry I just dont have any more news.
I'll post when I have more. "

I for one am still following this. I intend on getting the Norton ally tank at some stage however, will be very interested to see a sample of this tank.

Has there been a conclusion to the 961 alloy tank group.

It should sell , especially to those who have long term prospects for their 961. I would buy it for the extra fuel range alone.

I’m taking my name of the list, I have bought a aluminum tank from Norton, just arrived today. Good price as well, I ordered and paid for it back in August 2020, no logo just 0001 on the under side
