is there a website to look over the details?

See CNW's site. Or, PM me and I'll send you the specs.

I had to dig a bit to find that the Hemi heads are actually made in Australia which is a great thing. I see that all their design and manufacture is in-house which makes them somewhat cheaper to produce. I have had to fork out design, development and manufacturing costs for a project that nobody else wanted to take on. Some four years down the track I am not even close to recouping my development costs, let alone actually make some money. If you think I have an inefficient business then look at the facts. No premises. No bank loans. No company car. Virtually no travel. No website. Not even a business card. My only overheads are postage and my accountant. And I'm still not in front. I have a normal job which doesn't pay much and do the heads as a part time, possibly one day make some money scheme.

Have I ordered my Lamborghini yet? Nope. Any profits will go into my next project, aluminium cylinder barrels for 850s and then other parts that I think Norton owners need, which will be designed and manufactured to amazingly high standards which will be appreciated by those who shell out the dollars. So, if anybody thinks they can do a better job and actually make some money, then be my guest.

Well, I for one thank you for all yer work !!! Makin' these heads and selling to fellow enthusiast ... I hope you make some money sometime for all your effort :D I'm even thinking of saving some money (instead of spending it all on fleabay for my many projects) ... and getting in line to buy one, cheers !!!

Hey, worntorn,- how much for a pair of [repro] Vincent heads?
Just for curiosity, anyone got the spares list price for a Commando head from back in the day, I wonder how much penny pinching Norton asked?
Anyone know how much S.G. wants for a new Commando 961 head?

Hear Hear "nortriubuell". These projects are indeed labours of love, for which we should indeed thank Fullauto. And if you ever do order a Lamborghini that should in any case be your business, as has been said the price is fair (the fact that I cannot afford one today it is not because the price is wrong!) we should all readily see value compared to second hand heads, refurbishment with it's potential for cost overuns and disappointment.

Just to be quite clear, given the level of apparent sensitivity expressed, I aint bagging Fullauto`s deal...want one, then buy one...too easy.
But the suspense was killing me, & really, no need for all the drama - is there?

No drama here. I thought you were chasing information. Now that I've explained the situation if you want to know something just ask.

When I approach projects, whether it be on the house, the boat, the bike, or any other junk I have sitting around the first thing I ask myself if can I save money by making it myself. There are a lot of times when it is cheaper to buy something unless I don't consider my time to be of any value, but since time is limited, a minimum personal wage usually intervenes. There are some projects I do anyway because what I am wanting can't be purchased at any price, any place. Then on the other end of the spectrum is something like a Fullauto Head. I couldn't build one regardless of how many hours I put into to it. Kind of moves it into the "priceless" category don't it? I don't care who you are, there are not many of us who could design a head that works, is actually an improvement and then figure out how to have it cast. And the one-off would cost so friggen much that you would never consider it viable.

My biggest problem is that I would feel compelled to spend a lot of money on the rest of the bike to make it worthy of getting one of these heads!

For the past 4 years I have been saving my change from pennies to dollar coins. I have saved about $1800.00 in change.
I am going to buy one of those heads as soon as I can as to me this change is like found money.
My other bike had a RH4 head which cracked along the left intake runner to the center of the head which I think is unrepairable.
The Fullauto head is something I have been hoping someone would make.
When I do get it, it will go on my 73'.
I'll snap a shot of it as it is definitely a "most improved" candidate.

My wife and I both throw our loose change in a bucket and when we run across something we would like to buy but can't justify, we go to the change bucket and start counting. The last thing we bought with it was my 850!

I'm hoping my RH10 holds up, especially after CNW/Jim rebuilt it. But if I ever need one I'll be getting one of these. Who doesn't want the best head available?
