Scam Commando 850 Sale

I think I’ve said it before but certainly in the U.K. the scams include, a phone number or email inviting you to contact ‘seller’ outside eBay.
The bikes are usually cheaper than you’d expect.
If you look at sellers other items there are usually other bikes, classic cars for ‘sale’.
I’ve flagg3d many up to eBay, they have almost immediately been removed.
The adverts don’t hang around long as eBay does remove them.

They have been running for at least 10 years and continue to do so.
In the early days I contacted ‘seller’ spoke to a friend.
Seller was over seas, bike was locked up in Scotland and I couldn’t view.
If I wanted to buy it I could!
No thanks.

Search on ebay and there are usually about 5 immaculate commandos with buy it now prices for under £4000 and all the rest of the commandos are around £10,000. For my interest i emailed one of the bikes and they gave me an bank to place a deposit.....scams scams scams and ebay still lets them do it

Report this add and get Ebay to delete it.

Need to be using an escrow company for such transactions. They hold the funds until the item is delivered and approved by buyer. I've used them to purchase cars and boats in the past to good success.
