I think I’ve said it before but certainly in the U.K. the scams include, a phone number or email inviting you to contact ‘seller’ outside eBay.
The bikes are usually cheaper than you’d expect.
If you look at sellers other items there are usually other bikes, classic cars for ‘sale’.
I’ve flagg3d many up to eBay, they have almost immediately been removed.
The adverts don’t hang around long as eBay does remove them.
They have been running for at least 10 years and continue to do so.
In the early days I contacted ‘seller’ spoke to a friend.
Seller was over seas, bike was locked up in Scotland and I couldn’t view.
If I wanted to buy it I could!
