updated photo, rebuilt and painted front master cylinder, news bar, single coil conversion kit, trispark ingnition, two new tires, painted the barrels black, carbs cleaned, new petcocks and hoses, new oil filter, but seems like the return hose to the oil tank is leaking...

Re: New Norton Owner need technical help

Looking good. What size tires did you decide to put on? I'm still debating.

It's a warning light assimilation from cool cat, works well and I think it ran me $20.
If you order one, make sure it is the one for how your bike is grounded, if your bike has been in a shed for 20 + years it may be positive ground.

This one is positive ground, just double check your bike, I am not sure if grounding was switched around on later years as I have a 72.

Already did that was my first purchase trust me I totally agree.

When you order new bars, don't forget the shorter front brake line ( maybe even braided stainless ) you'll need, and a shorter clutch cable, and you'll have some wire trimming to do.

Great color by the way!

Re: New Norton Owner need technical help

Thanks just ordered the warning light assimilation from cool cat, It cheap and most likely need one, and with the forks they came like that when I got the bike, I think the first owner painted, maybe the second not sure.

JD5 tires i used both front and back Avon Roadrider 100/90-19 just because those are the original ones it came with so I just got the exact same ones new.

And I found out that the oil isnt leaking from the return hose to the oil tank but dripping out (only when the bike it running) through the air filter on the bottom closet to the front tire.....

Re: New Norton Owner need technical help

nice look'n bike - but unless you one of the vertically challenged, or don't plan on riding the bike much - the clubman bars with the stock foot pegs may have your knees on your chest sort of feeling and won't be comfortable - rearsets or bars an inch or two higher would make your range beyond that of the bar hopper
