Here are some pics from yesterday’s N.O.C. Wharf Inn 100 meet. I believe there was a record number of 961's in attendance- officially 26 according to the NOC. It was a terrific day in glorious sunshine, at a lovely venue. It was nice to actually meet and chat to so many folks on here. Stu’s “Motorvated 961” got a lot of attention.

Just because I know you love a bit of black and white 😂

Looks like you lads had a fantastic day - would have loved to have been there.

Fm Papa Smurf - FB/YT (Norton Unofficial)

I see they cut out the ten minutes of video where I was trying to get my 961 to reluctantly start with much mumblings from the 'real' Norton owners..........

This was an interesting modification by one of the Bristol branch guys (who's name completely escapes me). He removed the standard airbox and made a smaller replacement from carbon fibre. He was then able to mount the battery on a piece of alloy plate fixed between the frame rails.

Hello Richard , Your bike is looking good. Ready for the next 34,000 Miles !
Hi ya Tony , it wasn’t looking so good on the way to the meet , when I hooked up with Graham the exhaust note was rather loud , on looking down at silencers they had slipped of the decat pipe , when I refitted the set up I’d fitted the decat pipe to far forward , anyway after a few spanner’s we were back in business .

Think these Nortons are like Rollers ( that’s a Rolls Royce btw ) Rolls Royce motor cars don’t breakdown “ They fail to proceed “ , well Nortons don’t breakdown either , they have “ Operational errors ! “

Gentlemen, amazing turnout of 26 x 961 + varients. And such great weather. I made it to the previous record when there were 13 of us. I think covid stuffed it up for a while. I made it in 2022 I think but in a car as I had a knee opp a couple of days before. This year the wife had her big 60 b/day so we were away and I missed this record turnout, gutted. Even Stu our Norton guru was there with his stunning machine.

Shame about motorcycle world in Northampton handing back their franchise, otherwise next year, we could have broken 30 easily I guess.

Been a rubbish year so far for me with bikes, just been so busy and both off the road needing MOT's. No more holidays so July onwards should be back in the saddle. Well done chaps.

Did anyone trip over Clives long pipes as they passed his machine
