No but I will probably order a setSweet. Do you have panniers for it?
I put a piece of 4x4 across the frame above the oil tank then rested a long length of 4x4 on the piece that was across the bike, strapped it to the rear of the loop and with the bike strapped down levered it up. It was only 1/4” dropped so I decided I didn’t need any heat if it had been any more I would have been reluctant to lever away without warming things up first. As it happens all is good with no cracks to the enamel and no other issues.Success!!
Nice to know something actually fits correctly.
How did you correct the Loop Droop?
So to install this AN chrome rack on an Interstate you have to convert to a removable Mk3 seat?
I am curious how the rack attaches to the loop at the rear. Any chance you can upload a photo?
The C clamp that comes with the rack to secure it to the loop has the rubber sleeve fitted on it. Not high tech, but does the job without scratching.

Mine is a mk2a and the original lift off seat is retained.Reggie and Dellis, You both have "take off" Mk3 seats rather than the OEM MK3 hinged seat?

p400, I think if you are intending to order the luggage system for the Mk3, this bracket is included in the fitting kit and so shouldn't need purchasing separately. I'm pretty sure it was when I bought mine. Dellis?Thank you Reggie, i found this at AN
Maybe but you need to fabricate a cross brace as I think the p clamps would give enough support to hand a pair of panniers from the frames. Can this rack work without the top piece?
Yes the mk3 parts are included.p400, I think if you are intending to order the luggage system for the Mk3, this bracket is included in the fitting kit and so shouldn't need purchasing separately. I'm pretty sure it was when I bought mine. Dellis?
If anybody wants one I have the spare that came with the rack. I have a mk2a so I don’t need it. FOC posted in the U.K. FOC plus post at cost rest of the world.
