It was just our control freak Nazis doing their thing. Nothing unusual. We will deal with that. They have been re-elected with a majority - it only takes a minute and they are full steam ahead..So ..... what was the raid by the Federal Police on the Australian Broadcasting Co. all about? Seems related to yesterday's raid on the home of a journalist.
Slick
Australia confuses me.
Until relatively recently U.K. politics were the same - it was said that you could not get a cigarette paper between the two main parties policies! New Labour (under Blair) and Conservative were pretty much indistinguishable -they both promoted “centre ground” politics.Being different for political purposes has become more difficult.
Well it’s official, you cannot criticise nation states or politicians without being branded with a label...
Criticise Israeli politics or their actions in certain areas and you are branded “anti Semitic” Criticise the comments of a member of congress and you are branded a racist because said member happens to be black (or is that a man of colour?).
I am no fan of President Trump or his methods of communication but he is branded racist because he objects to comments from another politician who just happens to be black - nowhere did he say anything about colour, background etc.. he said - clumsily - that before you point fingers, get your own house in order!
The political opposition and media - especially TV - no longer report events as they happen, their response is always tinged with prejudice.
Open, honest debate and equal respect no longer exist in political discourse.
Perhaps Mr. President might have a conversation with the owner of several violation ridden Baltimore housing complexes, his son in Law.
I do agree though, civil discourse seems a thing of the past.
It doesn't take a genius to read between the lines...
