What is your Commando becoming ?

Good topic! My MKIII isn't really "becoming" anything at this point I guess. After 46 years and almost 70K miles, I ride it now more that ever. It's basically stock, with a few things tweaked for reliability. Rode it 3K miles on a trip this summer, never missed a beat. I have a hot rod Commando as well, more of a fun bike I play with, changing stuff at will.
 
Sorry for the confusion, I meant the rear sets/gearbox shift linkage......
Sorry, must have been asleep when I read that. The rear sets are heavily modified Norman Hyde units. I cut the main block in half to narrow it and made up a new shifter so I could use a MkIII kick lever in an upright position. On the brake side I cut off the huge tractor pedal and welded on the pedal from a trashed factory lever.
