It's not 140 , but perite Mild EP is 110 , and is yellow metal friendly, states it can be used where 90 was recommended as well .

That's a good option, though as is usual here in our Nations capital.....you can't get it here....I find this with most things here though. May have to order it in.
Checked online and found another auto spares place in town that seems to have a 250ml bottle of Penrite Trans 140 in stock (for old vehicles with Edwardian gearboxes). This is the stuff I thought I had bought previously....different label though. Bet its not there though....I'm getting cynical in my old age:(.

My steel Interstate side panels that I thought I'd try (and return if unsuitable) arrived this morning and so I popped 'em on to see how/if they fit.

I'm really pleased to say they fit rather well, especially considering the cost (£57). As Kommando mentioned on another thread, some of the holes might need a fettle to aid alignment, and so it was with the oil tank cover top bolts, though that was a 5 minute job with a small curved file as it was a gnats cock off. The battery cover slid straight on without issue.

So happy with them am I, that I'm gonna go ahead and get them painted up - and I'll report back on that when it happens.

Any idea on a colour match code for the black?

I rode the Norton from Sherman to Van Alstyne, Texas for a car show. This is held every first Saturday of the month. Has no entry fee and no prizes. It's mostly cars with a handfu pf bikes. It's just a way to show off what you got. It was a 40 mile round trip for me and when I got home I immediately stripped the carbs off. The lack of consistent idle, the low speed farting and the hard start issue made the ride a bit unpleasant. I am determined to get to the bottom of it. I want a usable classic bike not a tolerated one. It was really fun to get out and the morning was surprisingly cool which was a real treat.

We have a similar thing every Saturday morning in Pismo Beach, C. called Donut Derelicts. I am familiar with your area being from Big D.

We were thinking that it would be nice to have a dedicated bike section. As it is the bikes are scattered through the cars.
