I saw pics that he sent me of his other 2 bike and that's the kind of guy of guy I want to finish this one. His other 2 are very very nice!

Hopefully we will see the finished product on the site when he finishes the bike! I will encourage him to give us updates as he makes progress.

That seems like a very fair price all around.

As far as 4k for one that needs the works, I dont doubt that is possible in some locations, especially at a Vintage Swap meet. You see the old guys with a crazed gleam in the eye on the hunt for a basket case, desperate to come home with the next project. I know , I am one of them!

In 2004 when getting back into British bike ownership, I took the easy route and bought a bike that didn't need anything done other than a new rear tire. After asking around, and doing some reading up, it seemed that the MK3 model had a lot of small and large improvements built in, and the Interstate tank is great for a rider who does long distances. When one came up close to home for $4200, I grabbed it. It was about market price back then, but not these days it seems.

Twas I. I have set up a shelter for needy commando's.

This one will get a ground up resto that will start next year.

Pics will be duly posted.

The owner has been very helpful will get the opportunity to ride the finished product.
