Stator/Rotor alignment

Interwebbed myself up a bit on rotors to find they are are all made the same way and all fine, as long as no slack in seams detectable and still good flux. Can't weld on or too close around magnets or not magnets anymore at some point.

It is tight, no slop, yet. It may be a bit weak in the magnetics area, doesn't seem to keep the voltage up like it used to but I haven't tested the AC output yet.

Hey Dog, thats exactly what mine looks like apart from the date....with the addition of what looks like dot punches around the centre hole....I'm worried now...... ( chews nails)
so its either a good one that has lasted 40 years or just waiting unti I'm on a ride out of cell phone coverage..... :roll:
