folks ye all are frightening the bejaysus out of me here haha, are these bikes that badly made and take huge maintenance to keep on the road,

No..... But expect dirty hands once in a while :-) Not to be owned by anyone without a set of tools.....

Good news is lots of spares readily available for basically all components from various retailers. Do expect to pay out fair amounts as you get into sorting unknown condition items. Like layshaft bearing, head and carb work. Much knowledge can be had off this site for the asking.

I have a ‘72 750 , lovely bike while maybe not as practical as the one you have posted .... it always makes me smile and has yet to leave me stranded ..... only Sunday morning rides though , not Japan here , but Italians which have been much more reliable than rumoured ..... I like your bike ! , buy it and deal with the issues as they come up , if I can keep mine on the road , you ,with your experience will have no problem .... welcome aboard !

I'm 99% sure this bike was offered for sale at www.oldmotorcycleshop.com in Calgary Alberta a few weeks ago. The asking price was very reasonable. I have never heard anything negative about the shop that was offering it for sale. With a 4295 sales on their Ebay store, and a 99.9% positive rating, I'd say that you are in good hands.

The ad is still up on Kijiji Alberta. Might be worth contacting the Old Motorcycle shop to confirm you aren’t getting scammed.

In fact I noticed it too ,now that you point it out ... not much mechanical info mentioned there either if I remember correctly .... slow down and have good look see Head ...

You bought it right? Sounds good to me.

I wish my alternator/regulator worked that well. Only time I see 14V is when the charger is hooked up.
