G'day Jerry, While beauty is in the eye of the beholder and "nut and bolt restorations" are the hardest, I do like Paul Z's bike a little more than the rest. Any Norton is good.AC.

Yeah, well where were you when we were VOTING?!

hee hee

2010's collection of entrants were pretty darned unbeatable.

Mmm ... perhaps there will be a 2011 contest ??? Just the motivation I need to finish my 1974 850 in a year ... instead of the 3 or so it currently takes me. Be nice to showcase the " Fireflake Royal Blue" paintwork Brent (the vintage Vendor) did for me, I can't praise his work enough !!! Perhaps the Red, White, and Blue JPN livery would be next, or my all time favorite ... "Fireflake Golden Bronze" Does any one have one of these; that they would PLEASE post pics of ??? I've only seen one in my life, owned by Ben Marquez of the San Diego Norton Club in the early 1980's.

I ended up going with the Blue, because Brent already had the paint ... and I wasn't ready to commit to the Bronze just yet. So ... will someone post some pics of an OEM Fireflake Golden Bronze machine ??? (Heck, I'd settle for "Metalflake Orange" even.)

Grandpaul, I hope you got my PM with thanks for the book, which was among the prizes for winning.
