I usually find something right after I sell something else too.
What does "sell something" mean? That's a phrase I'm not familiar with...
lol...I'm currently learning about that one myself...but it's my kids that are forcing me to....they want the space for their "things"

There I was getting worried about registering this 1971 Commando. I had no paperwork so I contacted the seller and he mailed me a bill of sale.

A 2 hour wait at Fullerton DMV last Friday to get the correct forms for an inspection. I paid the local police station $40 to send someone to my garage to inspect the bike. I went to the police station on the way back from the DMV to set that up and they were at my house before I got home. I took the inspection paperwork to the DMV today along with the bill of sale. I now have tags and a registration plate for my 1971 Commando. That was not too bad :) - I had visions of lifting it on and off the truck for the inspection.

So now on with the restore..

What exactly did The Authorities look at when they rolled by your garage?

He looked at the engine number and frame plate number as well as the original registration plate. He then filled out the form, signed it and that was that. Actually he called something in also, but I was not paying much attention to that.
