Hey All,

Attached are some pics of the Commando Lyta Tank going to Steve in AU.
The tank will get an internally welded Aircraft style filler cap & Fuel taps. The Under Tunnel and Panels will be added in a few days from now.
I will post pics again once the Tank is ready to be shipped.
Once this tank is sent, i will start the work on Farrokh's tank (the guy who started this thread) and post detailed pics here as i go along.

Regards
Singh

Hi Guys, Just FYI
I ordered a full set of the CB750 alloy body work for a cafe racer i am going to do shortly and also a slimline tank for a triton project I am doing and other than waiting for the kit to come I have no issues with this guy. his comms are good, hes easy to deal with and very helpfull. I can understand that there is a lot of negatives dealing with some guys over in the subcontinent but to be fair this guys comes across ok in my mind and i recieved the CB tank and seat unit and panels last friday so I would say give the guy a chance.
If you can wait a day or two i will open the package and post pics when i get back home over the weekend
I do agree its a minefeild buying from people over the internet but his prices are keen and my expectations are that the product will be of a superior quality than the usual crap that i have seen coming over here in the last few years.
cheers

Steve

It is now February 28th, 2015.
Approximately, 2 months ago Mr Singh sent me 2 brief emails after a very long absence, indicating he had been Ill, but is back and will take care of everything. Specifically, he will build the wanted tank, and send regular photographs of his progress before shipping. Thereafter he will ship the tank to me stateside for my honest assessment.... and payment, ONLY if I'm satisfied.

Nothing in the 2 months. No emails, no responses, nothing. I can't understand what is going on. Perhaps it is health, perhaps it is something else... or worse! Neither do I have to anymore. Suffice it to say we gave Mr. Singh and Singh Precision's amble opportunity, fairness and patience. Whatever is going on with him and his business... is not worth the hassle... regardless of the quality; which is still an unknown.

I was initially skeptical about Singh. No longer. He is way beyond skepticism.

Are you saying Singh's nonresponse is due to an illness? This you know firsthand?

I did. I didn't draw the same conclusion as you. Judging from the posts, neither did some other forum members.

Most posts prior suggest he was ill, read them.

There are those who have died, passed through the Pearly Gates and reside in Heaven.
A recent survey has shown that 80% of them still lurk on the list.

Did they receive their tanks?

Oh you didnt know? Those in Heaven get NOS tanks.
Those in Purgatory get Indian leakers .
Those in hell get fibreglass tanks lined with peeling tank liner.....

Hey Everyone

Following is a snippet from my message posted on 30th JAN -

"I am officially not in work/business till at least Feb Mid/end, Depending on how everything goes."

As of today - 3rd March, i am almost done with the prior orders and Steve's Commando roadster tank has also been dispatched.
I will start the work on Farrokh's tank this weekend.
All pics & info relating to this custom tank project will be posted here at regular intervals.

Singh

It's all bogus...he never responds to any of the posts that are asking about specifics...never posts any real pictures of continuing progress after saying he will. None of the projects he says he finished are shown here.

Can't find his way to a computer or smart phone for weeks on end...

Posts a couple of old pictures a month ago on Facebook to make it "seem" active.

I think we all get the picture.

Hang on to your hard earned cash and work with someone reputable.

A good friend recently got an alloy tank from The Tank Shop near Dumfries
http://www.thetankshop.com/
He was after a tank for his slimline Triton. He paid nothing up front, and the tank was done a fair bit quicker than promised.
A very happy customer all round.

It can be done!
