Finned rocker oil feed

Here is a Sir Eddy's rocker shaft cover.

I really like the Chevron point cover, just not a double
taking as Sir Ed machined fine detail.

That rocker spindle shown is a special piece w/o the milled
out fins for a flat seat circle for oil feed banjo bolts.

Peel's has both spindle covers milled out, one for oil in
and other for the oil PSI tap.

I have a set of the Sir Eddy’s Rocket tribute covers.

They are superb quality, lovely to look at, and they make me smile every time I go in the workshop because of the story behind them.

@olympus Edward Bilton-Smith (AKA Sir Eddy) died a couple of years back.

He had some really interesting ideas around engineering, and getting the most out of a Norton twin which I found fascinating.

He was building his ultimate dream, and was planning to do some speed trials on the salt with the goal of breaking records, but unfortunately he passed away before he fulfilled his dream.

When he died, his family stepped up, and as a tribute to him, they carried on the work.
