Larry,
It's looking good. I really have to ask "Are you crawling around on the Harbor Freight moving blankets putting this stuff together"? If so, are you wearing knee pads?

Thanks for the compliment. Yep, that’s exactly how I’m doing it, w/o knee pads. I’m used to working on my knees (insert joke here). About 70% of my work is done either on my knees or laying down. I do repair and installation of heating and cooling units and just about anything else in your home.

13 years of that was enough for me. I got into personal computers at the same time as Michael Dell (he did a little better with that gig than I did)

Awesome, Now I understand the true meaning of a "Ground Up" restoration. I most certainly would have to push the RED button on my "First Alert" to get on up outta there. Or ask the missus to bring me a pillow and another blanket. Carry on!

More progress.

More progress. I replaced the oil seals on my inner primary and noticed that my stator wire grommet is dry, brittle and sloppy so it's going to get replaced. Ordered.

More progress. Added a little more bling or as you gentlemen on the other side of the pond would say "tarting it up".

A little progress. Changed out my stator wire grommet. Primary going together soon. First I am going to paint some areas where I used a dremel on my powder coat.

Progress today. Sacrificed a friction plate for a clutch hub locking tool. Thanks to my nephew Ben.

That's a great idea. There needs to be a thread on home made tools

Simple yet effective. It also cost nothing to build as all of the materials were almost within arm’s reach. All part of the fun.

I’m planning on installing my clutch plates tomorrow and would like to know if I should install them dry or soak them in 20/50 oil?
