Anti Wet Sump Oil Pipe Tap With Switch - Magneto or Coil Ignition Systems A solution to a frequent problem of wet sumping. Available in two types - please selection option MAG TYPE: Magneto ignition engines - closed circuit - Tap OFF (to earth the magnetowww.feked.com
I have got a tri-spark ignition system fitted.
Thanks, I will give that a go."Coil Type explained: Simply use the two wires on the switch to interrupt the power supply to your ignition system. This can be wired in series with the coil low tension wire, or a power feed wire to the ignition switch (care with amperage use) or a power feed to the electronic ignition unit."

Ok, so (assuming it is standard positive earth), disconnect the Tri-Spark black/yellow from whatever 'ignition switch' (actually, kill button) wire it is connected to which can be a white/yellow or a white/blue (or white if the kill button has been bypassed) and connect the valve between those two wires. It may be necessary to extend the valve wires to do so.
That is what I would do if I had the switch part on my dangerous manual kaboom ball valve. Kill the ignition at the source. (Recommended smiley face.I connected my DIY AWS manually actuated valve micro switch to the power feed going to the ignition switch. Just unplgged the spade connector at the ign switch, plugged that onto one side of micro switch, took other wire from micro switch to the now unoccupied connection at ign switch. Done.
Just lay it on it's side every night.... Tell Isaac to go do oneThat is what I would do if I had the switch part on my dangerous manual kaboom ball valve. Kill the ignition at the source. (Recommended smiley face.)
How can a manually operated valve get "stuck" in a closed position and not have the ign interupt also in the open/ign off position? That's just not going to happen. After checking Feked website, your valve is sold about 15 pounds.
Please, prepare yourself to spend 1000 pounds to rebuild your engine, for your valve stuck. It is up to you...
Don't get me started! LOL.
In design engineering, they ask: “When does a safety interlock fail, to danger?”
The answer is, of course: “The day you need it.”
