I can't imagine ridding with clippons & the stock footpegs. Those footpegs allways felt way to far forward even with normal handle bars.

That's a good lookin bike! I've always liked that style for a Commando.
This is one of my old faves, don't know much about it, I got it out of 90's issue of Classic Bike

And this one is my friends, another cafe/tracker, built up from various parts

that top photo was taken at the kent custom show about 1983 i remember seeing it there its a really nice flattracker did the artical mention the owner making his own frame? i seem to remember he had to make a new frame copying the original commando frame! ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,baz

I subscribed to their E-mail list a few years ago. Lots of nice customs and one-offs. I save most of 'em, but I delete anything "ol skool" or anything with those stupid antique Firestone tires.

Been getting their E-mails daily for a few years now. Some very nice customs and some stupid shit like sportbikes with dirbike knobbies and those ignorant, fat-front-tire junkers with the antique Firestone whitewalls. Nice to see a real motorcycle.
