To me the rear brake looks way over powerful. One panic dab on that in the damp and you'll be a passenger to who knows where.the guy is an idiot. wrong things he stated. 73 MKiii not , interstate side covers not, organelle carbs amal MK2s not, mik sounds like the enrichner is stuck on, left on or bad plunger. temperamental and high maintenance not.
Then I guess Lesters are nearer to the original form of the PW "Wheelbarrow" wheels. I do seem to remember that in the dim and distant one of those brands used to suffer from some serious metal fatigue though. Anyway, that's off subject.Yes, the single ribs gives it away. Letters have two ribs per spoke.
Both Lester and Morris were fitted to late T140s Cliffa. The T140D had Lester wheels as standard, then later on Morris wheels were offered as an optional extra, they were a popular fitment on the TSS.
I’d never thought about it before but yes, you’re right, the Lesters are more similar in appearance to Wagon Wheels !
