Drivers here are getting less and less attentive and I'm considering putting turn signal on my bike.

What have you tried that has worked well, looks good, and does not involve later model switch gear ? As you can tell from the photo, I like to keep the bike at least spiritually stock...

Thanks

Greg

Hello Greg!
This is my solution with LED indicators:

I made a bracket of aluminium wich goes under the lower yoke which has the screw holes for the earlier roadholder covers.

I used a generic indicator switch an the left bar end.

At the rear I also made a bracket of aluminium for the rear blinkers at the license plate holder.

I had to insulate the metal blinker housings from the rest of the bike because they are not wired positive ground.
I was not aware the wires inside the blinkers soldered to the platine are touching the housing and causing a short circuit.
So better go for plastic blinkers! I will change to these too.
Use a relais suitable for LED indicators resitance free.
Happy wiring!

I like the SHIN YO Arizona turn signals. I think these are nearly invisible on the bike.
Mounted on the handlebar with Triumph clamps.
Operated with push buttons. An Electronic box is needed for this. But that is an other story
