Show your other bike(s) - What else do you ride?

I posted pics of my Benelli 250 Sport Special before, but I noticed that they disappeared from the forum due to the big Photobucket f***up.
So here some other pics of the little Italian. (before and after pics)

We have the same Commando exhaust nut spanner :)

How could I forget the 1973 (March) Eldorado.
Once I make new cables for the just installed Dellorto 32 mm PHF's and connector plugs arrive for the VW ignition module / hall effect sensor modified distributor it will be back into service.

Archive pic with the bike still up on the operating table.

That's a beauty. On my wanted list

This thread sure got depleted by PhotoSuckit and PictureTrail.

I need to repost all but my latest 3 bikes...

TW, try and get a twin pull throttle and use a cable for each carb (if you haven't already) They will stop lots of annoying cable stretch and continual adjustment.

Back to that 350 Honda for a moment. I've often said it should be a required study for
any engineering student. They made a great small cheap bike miles ahead of anything else
and it was sold just as an ordinary bike. In many ways more important than a 750 four.
I once rode one that had been sitting for two years rotting away and with only an oil change
air in the tyres and GREASE on the chain I issued forth. 800+ miles, flogged relentless and it
never missed a beat. Ran it locally for several years after that. Rear shocks, swinging arm bushes
were not up to snuff even new but otherwise, what a great bike.

We bought that one for our son in grad school. He could park any where on campus for $100 a year vs over $100 per month if you could even find a place. Wife and I cleaned it good and replaced wear items. He used it for over 4 years, getting compliments every where he rode it. He ended up buying a newer bike after school and was surprised people weren't as interested. Getting ready to put this in his garage since there's limited room in mine.

Make sure to get one with aftermarket Gilardoni Nikasil cylinders if you do (chrome bore cylinders stock which can peel with no oil filter to stop it = $$$$$)
I added 88 mm Nikasil cylinders (948 cc - balanced in the garage with 177 grams of Mallory metal) then machined the engine case to suit those along with modifying it to take the later oil filter pan/sump and front main bearing to suit. (The galleries were cast in but undrilled)
1972 to 1974 build as a 850cc, 4 LS drum front brake added from late 1973 and a single disc in 1974 then production stopped even though they were selling well in the USA.
Every mechanical part is new (including modifying new parts) right down to NOS wheel bearings sourced in Germany.
I have had a few offers to sell it which I would for $1 more than anyone would pay.
Have chance to buy this one and has already had the cylinders done. About all it needs is a wiring harness. Just have to pry it loose from owners hands.

I deleted that post worried about derailing the thread.

I got a complete police loom off Greg Bender.

If you do FB there is a page for Loop bikes.

This is my latest addition along with aluminium California 2 rocker mounts and rockers and a Tommy Pettersen distributor conversion to no points.

plus adding the 32 mm PHF's off my 81 900SD.

The list is shorter now, so it'll be easier to get caught back up.

'66 Triton with real nice M.A.P. stuff, my first of three Triton builds...

If anyone is interested in specifics, I can add details...

1969 "bitsa" BSA 650 Lightning, restored by a guy in Houston in 2010, it only has 6 miles on it. I have yet to ride it more than 1/4 mile (2018), just too much going on. I have more time now, so things will get better. My leg is still on the mend, and not up to kickstarting it yet (I tried)

This is the scratch built 65/66/67/68/69/70 Triumph Bonneville I built as my 50th birthday present to myself, to go vintage roadracing in 2007. I was on the track at Texas World Speedway on my 50th birthday, 9/10/07, getting my racing license. So many great stories attached to this bike, when I raced in 2008 (11 of 19 races), I managed 5th out of 20 riders with the 3rd smallest-displacement bike on any of the grids (OHC Honda 400 Four, and DOHC Honda 450 Bomber being smaller). All the other guys had hopped up 750s, OHC Honda fours & Trident triples. Not too shabby

1972 BMW R75/5 that belonged to my late friend, Nacho. I had to replace the bent frame and rear spline hub, spiffed it up a bit and it'll probably outlive me...

1982 Honda MB5 that I restored for the kids (with an 80cc / 6-speed engine). Already taught my 15-year-old daughter to start it and do basic take-off and stopping without killing it, popping the clutch, or dropping it. My son isn't ready yet; he's BIG enough, but only has one finger on his left hand, and none of his prosthetic attachments will work right to operate the clutch lever.

'92 Yamaha TDM850 "bug eyes" (a la JPN), need to clean the carbs and replace the fuel pump...

The wyfe's 2000 Triumph Legend 900 triple with Shoei quarter fairing, "off road" (straight-thru) mufflers, and airbox mods with jetting to suit the combo. Very torquey for it's size.
