What is the running in procedure for the Solihull bikes?
We have all been through it at some time or other just persevere.Riding 300 miles without exceeding 3500rpm is not that easy.....
it says in the writing to not exceed 3/4 max engine soeed , which is 4500rpm: which contradicts the diagram….!?
Yep - strange statement Jan. Not sure.it says in the writing to not exceed 3/4 max engine soeed , which is 4500rpm: which contradicts the diagram….!?
I wonder, are we related? This thread confirms what I have been saying for years; a history of riding bicycles 'on the drops' plus an errrrm Italianstature of 5' 8" with sort legs and long arms means a good fit on the 961CR with clip-ons. And note that absolutely is nothing like the dimensions of Neanderthal man.....
In the good(?) old days you picked your bike up from Castle Donington Norton and if it didn't break down you rode out your 'break in' miles putting up with the muted gurgle of an exhaust being overtaken by scooters, bicycles, pizza delivery riders etc. Eventually that hallowed day arrived when you delivered it back to have the cat taken off, the straight through pipes fitted and a remap and you rode away, on what felt like a completely different bike. You still get overtaken by super-scooters and electric pizza delivery riders but at least it sounds as though you could go a lot faster if you really wanted to......
Errr yes I do!!! Had a pair of old Lewis Leathers boots modified to accommodate them. I think we are related by the Brotherhood of the Chainset.........I wonder, are we related?
If you struggle with getting boots over your calves, I think we must be!
In other news the CR is doing wonders for my shoulder muscles.
7500What is max rev's 7500? 8000?
Interesting, is there a rev limiter?7500
Ally tank.Out of interest, what you planning?
PCP - you only have to give it back stock, so unless you're chopping the frame or whatever you could potentially be fine
