I have the same size BT 46 on my N15.Hi there,
Yesterday I escape from home to my workshop, I polish the forks to a mirror finish.
Tomorow I will put the forks on the frame and put the raised Tomaseli clipons.
Next week I will receive my new tires: Bridgestone new Batalax BT 46, replace the BT45.
My former front tire was 110/80/18, not more made.
The BT46 is 110/90/18, the tire will be a bit higher, can it have a influance?
Your advice pleace
Thanks
Yves
I have no doubt that the BT46 is a good tire, but I wish to know if the difference between a 110/80/18 (BT45) and a 110/90/18 (BT46) can do something bad on the road holding?I have the same size BT 46 on my N15.
Excellent tire.
I 'll come see you next week.
Eddie, previously Yves was running a 110/80x18 BT45 now they want him to run a 110/80x18 BT46, according to your chart the 110/80x18 BT45 has an OD of 630mm where as the new 110/90x18 BT46 has an OD of 656mm.
Hi Nigel, I will change the rear tyre to.You’re absolutely correct there, well spotted. My error, I read the wrong tyre (I’ve edited my post so as not to leave wrong info for posterity).
I think a 26mm difference is bigger than I’d be happy with. But despite the theoretical change in tail, quicker turn in, etc, I honestly don’t know what the real life effect would be.
But I note the size differences between old and new are the same for the rear. In other words Yves, if you don’t want to risk changing the handling characteristics, you might consider changing the rear tyre too.
These guys have got to be good mates.I have the same size BT 46 on my N15.

Told my wife the joke and she did not get it.View attachment 20975

I need to find a solution for the mudguard, the front tire is higer as the former one

Here is the solution: new aluminium plates with slots, so I can adjust the high from the mudguard. The pic is no good in reality the slot is facing the bolt

Hi there,
Very slowly, step by step, it's start to look like a motorcycle.
I don't think that I will finish the bike as planed ar mid-february.
Tomorow I will start with the top-half fairing, the fairing must be raised becouse of the raised clipons.
After I will do the eletrical, and later the engine.
I may not forget to clean and polish every singel component, if I forget one, you will see nothing else, like a piece of shit on Trump is hair.
A white man is in the restroom with a guy from Congo
-How can it be that Congolees have sutch a big thing between there legs?
-Well Sir, when we fuck in Congo, we go very fast in and very slooooow out, this is the secret.
The white man go home, put his wife in bed and go in very fast and out very sloooow, go in very fast and out very sloooow.
His wife look at him and say: joe, you fuck like a Congolees now?

Thanks Yves, I am however going to have to delay my shoulder surgery. Life has thrown us another curve ball and unfortunately my wife Megumi, has been diagnosed with a much more serious problem requiring a two to three week hospital stay after the surgery the doctors are prescribing for her craniopharyngioma. I want to stay on topic and avoid de-railing your thread. So I'll PM you, but thanks again for the thought Yves, Cj[QUOTE="yves norton seeley.......
