"For the love of god, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
That was obviously a wind up IMHO! So I cannot believe any response was taking badly.

Molded frame would be extra icing on the cake to me.

Anyone know or have info for the front disc/rotor?I wonder how Steve got those rear shocks to work without fouling the chain/guard?
I really don't know - but that looks to be an OEM caliper with some aftermarket floating disk.Anyone know or have info for the front disc/rotor?
Thought that was some of Hobot's best stuff & post #13 hilariousThat was obviously a wind up IMHO! So I cannot believe any response was taking badly.

dunno what u mean by wind up or the rest
Ya, never know how new folks or the next gen riders reading stuff here for the first time, how it will come across. As for ‘the rest’ I thought people might link that post to the accusations he was hounded off of the forum,
Nope, mine was the chrome steel double loop one, hobot's is cast alloy.I really don't know - but that looks to be an OEM caliper with some aftermarket floating disk.
He must have got that humungous fork brace from @grandpaul
I rode my mates rubber mount Dyna it was by far the most evil handling bike I have ever riddenI don’t think Hobot came up with the Tri-link set up, there are definitely other guys on here running similar. I suspect the idea may have come from the Harley world where similar set ups were created for the rubber mounted ‘Dyna’ range.
Well, I’ve got a 2016 Dyna and it handles fine, surprisingly good really. But it’s REALLY low mileage (800 miles when I bought it last year). So I don’t know if they improved the design in later years, or if the handling issues some bikes suffer are simply due to them being worn out ?I rode my mates rubber mount Dyna it was by far the most evil handling bike I have ever ridden
And I used to own a sprung hub thunderbird and a plunger A10
Now I thought these were bad handling bikes until I rode that Harley
When I handed it back I told him there is something wrong with his bike because it didn't even handle in a straight line!!
You had to change your body weight as you changed gear FFS
He told me there was nothing at all wrong with it!!!
I still think there was something wrong that he'd just got used to because I don't see how you could sell it to the public like that!
It put me off Harley's
I only ever rode one over big twin and that wasn't quite as bad
I assume they are a lot better now?
This would have been back in the 90s can't remember exactly whenWell, I’ve got a 2016 Dyna and it handles fine, surprisingly good really. Mine just under 300kg.This would have been back in the 90s can't remember exactly when
So I don't know how old/what model exactly ?
It was extremely heavy
Really!Mine just under 300kg.
Sounds heavy huh?
It’s not much more than a modern BMW GS !
Worlds gone mad.
