The first Hardley (new word for me that i first heard here lol) rubber mount engine, generally considered the best was a factory 3 point mount deal starting ~ 84 fxr - flh. The Fxr frame was also highly praised but labor intensive to manufacture.I don’t think Hobot came up with the Tri-link set up, there are definitely other guys on here running similar. I suspect the idea may have come from the Harley world where similar set ups were created for the rubber mounted ‘Dyna’ range.
