There’ll be a few somethings up with any uncompleted project on sale.
A little digging on the www. looks like it sold for £8600 Feb 2019.. Now on with different seller but with the same description and photos. Could be first sale fell through, so why different Account? or the new buyer found something up with it..

Projects (as we all know) are purchased with the best of intentions...
If that motor (with that head) and gearbox are actually sorted, with all that's there, that's still not a bad starting point for a hot rod at that price.
Also, the economy isn't quite what is was in February. Prices have been dropping for a couple years and several Nortons/Tritons have been up for sale currently and not meeting similar/lower reserves.
Worth a drop in to suss it out in person, for sure.
Nice early morning drive up to see Mr Triton at his workshop this morning, Had a brew and a look at some loverly machinery
Cool!
Any thoughts or decisions ?
What did he advise?
My guess is: unit 750cc, squished head, lightweight valves, 3134 cams, 32mm carbs, belt drive and 5 speed box?
I have put a few bits on and will bid up to my prefixed amount i think it's worth but would only collect in person and check everything before handing over cash... Anyone who would trust it to be posted would be insane IMO...Postage to France? I see £70 postage via Royal Mail first class, that’s a good service that is!
Also, the text seems to suggest he’s had it 9 years whereas Morgy says it changed hands earlier this year.
I can see zero evidence of the purchase. In fact all of his feedback is from sellers with 1000s of sales, big stores, and mainly for ribbons and similar craft materials.
NONE of the above is proof of any wrongdoing of course, but they’re all little alarm bells...
Why do you think it’ll be back on eBay?
