Advice on common sense engine modifications

Yep perfect example of motorcycler's Common Sense, 850 is more pleasant pleasing to lope along and passing normal free way speed traffic but let the Combat snick down to 3rd for upper 6000 rpm and it'll pass the touring character 850 no matter what gear its in. I have tried to follow a well ridden 850 in twisties and its a terror to keep up with and requires behavior like i describe to get ahead on a Combat or modern handy sportsbikes. Wear and tear does rear its head on Common Sense sliding scale of operational priority. I hold there is less wear and tear on the 750's over red line than 850's somewhat below red line. Where a 850 is supposed to be ok all day at 5800 a Combat can be less strained at 6200 with another 1500+ rpm to work with. There's a double standard Common Sense logic being applied, one camp claiming the slower spinning torquer is better for all out racer than higher rpm less torque by offering touring type comparisons, while ignoring the higher hp advantage 750's can deliver over more rpm spread. In reality we don't need full power to hold the ton so the 850 is better puller for a short spurt beyond that but the 750 keeps pulling beyond that so if room enough would pass the 850 in short order. If ya can get the 850 to make more hp in same rpm as 750 then 850 would be quicker and faster unless or until the 750 could rev higher and burn more fuel with less friction. This s Goldie Locks Pandora paradox as ancient wisdom says there's no substitute for cubic inches but over square bore stroke is the way to get that for all out racing purposes as cuts friction and more valve size allowed but our two bearing long cranks can't take the rpms to burn enough fuel to really get much out of the over square short stroke set up. I and world pretty much classes 8000 rpm as rather low red line and to keep my 10.5grand SV650 in its best compromise hp pull range means shifting 1000 rpm lower and not get below 8000 or get left behind by the 600's Peel spanked below 7500. I actually get quite tired of peddling the SV to get the factory Combat pull, so pretty much don't bother running SV any higher rpm than them 4500 to 7500 is the norm. SV about matches or faster than factory Combat up to about 90 then neck neck till 110 then the Combat has another 10 mph or so good pull while the SV gets more and more sluggish. I don't know which could top out faster, SV stopped about 122 ish on digial speedo which is really ~120 d/t factory fudge on speeding ticket law suits, yet i let off on Trixie showing 120 touching red line as afraid its factory parts strained enough for me, but felt like could pulled past 125 and definitely can reach this speed more eagerly than SuVee. SV rated 70 hp/365 lb, so very confusing as implies at least 65 hp in Combat which is impossible on factory set up.
