My high school classmate was killed riding a Honda TL125.A Maico 400 could kill you pretty easily.
A Maico 700?????!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, but my wrist doesn't seem to communicate with my brain all the time...My high school classmate was killed riding a Honda TL125.
Like most deadly things, used responsibly, and pointed in a safe direction when discharging it, sounds like it could be most entertaining!
Go to the Maico website , you can buy brand new engines , also a Canadian company making a Panthera or something like that 600cc CR500 mounts .https://youtu.be/T3d6n-wFHtENot classic, but the company is.
Anyone else interested in this rip-snorting monster?
Brand new Enduro....You buying or selling? Pictures please! Can't say I ever saw a 700.
I had a 91 KX 500 water cooled, upside down shocks , it was so awesome, if you could ride pretty good, it made you into a better rider , suspension was so good , nice big two stroke sound , 110mph on the beach .Love it! My MX friend had a 501 Maico back in the early 70's. He got hurt in the first moto and let me ride his 501 in the next moto. I'll never forget the experience, I passed a lot of guys by powering out of turns in 2nd gear. I believe it only had 3 speeds, I never got out of 2nd. A very good handling bike with power to spare. One of my motorcycle experiences I'll never forget.
I kid myself every day. I kind of enjoy it.How many motorcyclists really know how to use s 500cc Manx Norton ? I suggest a lot of people are kidding themselves. A 1963 650cc Triumph Boneviille is fast enough to see-off most road riders at the first corner.
Atta boy!!!I’ve been itching for a dirt bike - been a long ,long time since my last one . I want a two stroke . In our area now they must be registered. It would seem that this Maico is one of few if not the only two stroke that can be registered. Too much power for my skill set ?
Likely so .
My last dirt bike was in the mid seventies- 8 speed Husky 360 Sportsman . Loved to ride the fire trails throughout the South Jersey woods on it and this Maico might be just the thing for that .
Too much money for my bank account ?
Likely so again - anyone know what they are going for ?
I want one ….
..except for the displacement and the fact that it can be registered..meh... just another "tail happy" 10' tall water-cooled dirt clone. Nothing whatsoever to distinguish it from 83 other brands of virtually identical hypertoys.
