I remember seeing it at the Kent custom show around 82 ish
Owned and built by Mick Fish
It caused quite a stir
He'd ridden it quite some distance and said it handled well
Not to my taste but I always admire people that push the envelope a little and at least he rode the bike it was no trailer queen and commandos were still 2 apenny back then
So I guess using a cheap bike to build this made sense !!

Well I´ve seen many strange things on 2-3 wheels but that.....it´s in a league of it´s own, definitely. I don´t understand how you even get an idea like that, thinking outside the box isn´t enough by a long shot.....

As much as these words may stick in my craw , there is something to be said about the mechanical aptitude of the creator of this
thing. It would seem that the purpose of the secondary fork/wheel arrangement is to support the overly long span primary fork/wheel
set . If indeed it actually handled well as claimed , so much the better, but I have my doubts .
 
I saw this years ago , probably early 80s, at the Kent custom show. It was also featured in some of the British motorbike mags of the day. It was actually road legal and ridden. Just had a look and I’ve got another photo from the rear the reg number was Q415GBU registered a 650 BSA and not taxed since 1986. So probably based on BSA frame.

The guy was called Mick Fish and he rode the bike from Wigan to the Kent custom show. We passed him on the motorway on the way. I can remember seeing the bike on TV winning some award. Mick had a custom bike building business in Wigan and I believe he was killed in a car crash in the early 90s.

Handled well???? I call bullshit. ....I suppose at least it had twin front disks.
