Back to my old Amal carbs

Well its been sometime now since going back to the old Amals and I have them fully sorted out a long time ago, starts first kick every time even after sitting for a few weeks, the Amals and the Joe Hunt work so well together, I can putter around the suburbs at 40MPH in top gear and just open up the throttle and it never hesitate at all from slow revs to fully open throttle, my Norton has been running the best it ever has and have done a few all day rides by myself as well with the mates and it hasn't missed a beat, my mates have even commented on how well my Norton goes.
I love riding my hotrod Norton and wherever I stop for a break where other bike are parked up it draws a crowd and of course I get the snicker when I go to kick it over "wonder how many kicks it will take to fire up" well they all shocked when it fires up first kick, but it always does and when it's still warm it fires up with a lazy kick and always 1/2 way through the kick it's running.
I haven't touched the Amals since the last time I was on here on this thread Apr2 2023, haven't touched the carbs or the Joe Hunt and the Norton is still running the best it ever has, if it's not broken, leave it well alone I say, in fact I haven't done anything to the whole bike except for a oil change.
It's coming into our winter and it will be taken out more the Norton loves the cooler days, I still run with the oil cooler and the 500ml of STP mixed with my oil, the motor still gets up to full operating temp and my cooler is not temp controlled (no thermostat) my bike idles great with the JH, no idle assist needed just idles away like it should when stopped and the only time I pull the front cover off the JH is to inspect the point and add a few drops of STP on the felt to lube the point cam, plugs were renewed when I put the old Amals back on and haven't touched them since (N7YC), I think I have my tune just right as it runs so well, best it ever has.
