That's a look I actually like and stopped me from ditching the airbox. Large filter and less obstruction, problem solved and look retained.I was hoping they'd have closed the gap between the frame and side panel/air filter housing
That could have been closed by 36%
I guess it's the style that people wantThat's a look I actually like and stopped me from ditching the airbox. Large filter and less obstruction, problem solved and look retained.
I’ve ordered the hugger and chain guard both in CF from Birmingham already - they do not have the number plate mount in CF.Yeah I was surprised to see that...unless they're going to look to offer those as after market add ons?
Them spares are flowing Gj! Just about to enquire ref a single seat unit - there’s been no mention of it so it’s unlikely. Strange I think, as I really do prefer the look over the dual seat unit. You’d have to think that it would be a pretty popular option. And carbon wheels?I’ve ordered the hugger and chain guard both in CF from Birmingham already - they do not have the number plate mount in CF.
I’m not mixing a cam, lifters, etc from one manufacturer design that was made from something else for my engine. No, but I've mixed and matched enough similar, close or even same family different spec stuff to know that a machine shop with similar parts can get a workable solution. I don't believe for a second you haven't done the same.
That carbon fiber plate holder is not available and will never be available. I’ve asked for 3 years now.Them spares are flowing Gj! This guy gets it!! Halleluja!!!
From memory, the lifters are from an LS1I’m not mixing a cam, lifters, etc from one manufacturer design that was made from something else for my engine.
I wouldn’t take a Chevy LS6 cam and try to make it work in a small block Chevy 350.
I know this sounds ridiculous and my comparison example is overboard.
But we have no clue as to what TVS changed because they as of now refuse to tell. Which is mind blowing to me.
On top of that, until we know exactly what was changed, I’m not buying anything engine internal from them.
I’m not interested in being a test mule and not being able to get a refund on parts that they know won’t work.
I still can’t get the other parts I asked for from them.
Correct. From memory, the lifters are from an LS1
You could permanently bond the cover on, then fill the joint and have it painted I guess.Them spares are flowing Gj! You'd been more happy if they did it prior to wasting so much time on the V4.So two years ago if you asked me if a strong and profitable motorcycle company bought the remains of Garner Norton and re-started Commando 961 production with 64% of the parts being the same as Garner Nortons, would I be happy? Oh hell yeah!
Gave that some thought to tie in with the ally tank on order, but discounted it; I want to keep the dual setup as well. It wouldn’t be difficult to do though but maybe a bit expensive. I’ll hunt a single seat unit down eventually. You could permanently bond the cover on, then fill the joint and have it painted I guess.
Wasting time on a flagship motorcycle? I’m also guessing that they were working on both bikes simultaneously. You'd been more happy if they did it prior to wasting so much time on the V4.
This guys reviews are pretty good
