or eliminating the characters and adding a line around the perimeter ...

Difficult to get a good read on this with the cowl not yet in black but ...
Looking for opinions/input here if anyone dares to tread the slippery slope of subjective aesthetics.

Thanks for looking in- RT

Here you go - this is my opinion.

Nice work on the cowl, BTW.

I think I will keep the lining on the cowl - the shiny Mylar tape is very bold and I think when all is done in paint it will be more understated.

^this is true^

All black pic looks velvety, very swanky

LOL - that is because I simply inverted the color of his cowl from white to black and pasted his mylar back on.

I think with black paint to match the tank, and real pinstriping, and sidecovers with the stock 750 gold lettering, the whole package will look dope!

The bike is very sharp and some minor accent is almost a must to set off the highlights and bring it all together. Just an old fart opinion. YMMV.
1/8" will flow right in when done and bring a bit of attention to the upper works of the machine as it flows from tank to seat to seat cowl without being obtrusive.

BTW - the Photoshop trickery was how I mocked up mine for the painter, but he still managed to screw it up a bit.

I wanted the trim profile rounded like the old Hailwood pudding basin, bit he missed that email

Looks good to me. Hows the rest of the bike? Can't help myself.

RT are you going to have the tank and side covers repainted with the cowl, or just buff them out?

All going to a custom bike painter - everything will be paint - no stickers or decals . I don’t know how to post links - about time I learned so if I can’t figure it out I will just post his site address.
