What Motorcycle Sold the Most IN THE USA in 2024?

This is BS. Also, he even states in his notes that it" highlights the Z650 as one of its best-selling models in the U.S.," not the best-selling. Also, the 2024 reports from Kawasaki are not available as well, so how is he getting 2024 numbers? And many states don't report the models of bikes sold and even the MIC doesn't have the figures so its misleading

if that's the case then the USA keeps very good import records. They would say what is imported but again give no idea if those models sold.

The vids are sorta entertaining and kinda informative - ish! But why post on this thread? If there’s a point to be made vis-à-vis Norton and their future production then let’s make it. 40K Hondas sold? Are we somehow supposed to compare Norton to Honda?

The new finance deal must be working, as I now know of four people who have bought a 961 from my local dealer in the last two weeks. The most recent being a friend of a friend who called in to see me as he'd just ordered a 961 (he currently owns a Triumph T120). The winter months in the UK are normally dead when it comes to new bike sales. Perhaps Norton are shifting current stock in preparation for the new models launch in the next few months?

When things get slow on the commando forum, they troll us!!

TVS is a study of what not to do in the motorcycle world. Same thing with Harley Davidson. If they don't get to the younger riders, they will die.
True, so let's hope they do just that with the new models.
They are supposed to be sportbikes, no?
The kids love them, so Norton should find out PDQ if they have hit a home run, or laid an egg.

Sports bikes have been mentioned, but so has an adventure/scrambler. Would’nt be surprised to see them use the V4SV engine (likely modified) for the sports. Would be surprised if there aren’t further retros.

I was told by the dealer earlier this year, that there will be several models using the same engine, no doubt retuned.. sports bike, ADV, touring etc.. They need to have new bikes in the showrooms by late spring, else they will miss the peak buying months for 2025.

If Norton had a model ready for late spring , then surely they would have had a prototype for the NEC show ? Or at least some posters ?

there was one report that an employee( at the show) laughed when asked about the new models being ready for the NEC show….

Absolutely. Hence there is zero chance of bikes for sale in spring, so 100% chance of missing another season.

But honestly, so what? They’ve missed so many, another one is no big deal.

The best y’all can hope for is bikes being ready for the shows next year.

Gotta love commentary that is based in absolutes!! This forum in particular is littered with past predictions that have proven to be completely wrong🤣! Guess we don’t have long to wait. It’s definitely looking a little suspect though!
