What's happening at Norton? Sale to TVS, massive investment, new bikes...

Or you could read the articles mate🤔. Maybe a better question might be,……. if you have worked your way to become the CEO of the second biggest football club in the world game, what likelihood that you are a dud as is being insinuated? Only time will tell of course - we can only hope that he’s a raging success right??

I’ll give you vintage boys credit though - at least you’re consistent🤣!
I read the articles in the trade press. I suspect he ran because he saw something he didn't like. Maybe you need to read the articles about Football clubs financial regularities, and the penalties that have been issued or about to be issued and investigations ongoing.

The ‘politics’ of why he left seem pretty clear - consistent across the coverage. If there’s alternate info of a link to financial irregularity you should post it. That would be pretty interesting.

Tickets now on sale for the NEC - would love to be there! A few more snippets of info in this recent BMF article.

Maybe this has already been posted, but this is what I was shown by TVS Norton on instagram. Same ole news. Wonder how much money they bought the brand for and how much they invested. Never heard that line before.

Why is it so impossible for Norton to post and share more info on what they call “new” models in the next 3 years. Give me a break already.
Sleepy.

"Dynamism"

Those eggheads are vastly out of touch.

A bit late to be asking questions like this I would have thought, ''During an interview at Goodwood, Arnold asked what I thought they had to concentrate on as they rebuilt everything'' surely the designs have been pretty much frozen if they have announced 6 bikes in the next 3 years.

C’mon guys! First truly new Norton models for many years about to be unveiled, after it looked like the marque was finished just 4 years ago - room for any optimism🤣!?

They’ve got to win it back Stephen.

After a long list of let downs the game has changed from one of Norton having full public support and it being ‘theirs to lose’ to the current situation where they have indeed managed to lose it, and they now need to win and earn that support back.

And they ain’t gonna do that by bringing out some more £3k paint schemes.

I’ll be at the NEC and am ready to be wowed, if not exactly expecting it…

If you get wowed, I hope you have left your payment cards at home, I believe you have been down that path before.

It was and is going to be a hard struggle to win back confidence, it was always going to be an uphill task with what they took over made harder by themselves for various different reasons, but it seems they might just be getting back on track nearly 5 years later.

I have indeed!

First I bought a 961, then I put a deposit on a Superlight.

I’ve gone from that to the current situation whereby I have NOTHING from TVS Norton.

It’s a situation which I suggest is indicative of their failure to engage more customers. I’m a sucker for this kind of stuff, SUCH an easy sell, a salesman’s dream really, if they’ve failed to hook me, then they’ve failed big style.

Do those of you with doubts about TVS Norton, do you think that they will not release a range of new bikes in November, to be gin sales in early 2025? I expect the new Commandos will be slightly better and more expensive than the Triumph T120 range. No doubt water cooled, 6 speed, to be sold globally. Along with a cheaper middle weight single or twin. The MD has stated that the current 961 and V4s will not have a future. I'll be keeping my TVS 961, and depending on looks, specs and price, may possibly consider adding the new version as well.
