Chris,

I don't know what to say, I just hope to hell you keep a grip on your life and come out of this intact riding your Norton.

30 days will soon fly in.

Best of luck.

Yeehaw, Chris has already won back the game of life, just sick over getting caught kicking up heels in a safe sane way through a speed trap business zone.
One big big reason I like to gear up on the tall side, with Norton Torque I can get some relief just short shifting up to legal cruise range and still get off on the sensations of exposed freedom and nod at surprise cops - thinking I fooled you again.

My younger brother I bought Trixie to share Commando life with, 'now' he'd finally gotten one this decade, still binged too much to trash what he'd loved most which knocked him back and died of it a couple years ago. Trixie's out the blue bust ups over 3 yr kept us from many adventures till too late. My brother Dale was a jerk, with attitude to take what he could and do the least to get by and stay looped and numbed though most of it, so going by objective review, he won big time, owing something to everyone around him. The Jerk.

My Post trauma stuff got some resolution 2 yr later, took some stuff that made me loose my mind enough that now each second I'm still alive is just like normal but so surreal I savor even the pressure on my soles when standing.

And another thing, we ain't fully ever in control, no matter what, fate is always hunting. Get on ya Bike and Ride, when ya got one : (

Thanks Cash.
Got to thinking and realized that its been 9 months since I drank (june 6). I'll have my licence back in 3...That is if the courts /dmv don't add to the suspension now. 30 days is nothing. Talked to the impound company, and the bike is indoors and covered, so it'll be fine. It gets released the same day as my court date. So, unless they throw me in the pokie right then and there, ill be able to get her out. Figure im lucky. An aquaintance was busted riding his sport bike. Same story, but he ran. Speeding and felony evasion, reckless driving and just about everything else they could throw at him. Took his bike and SOLD IT! No impound, just confiscated it and sold it. End of story. Glad im a good guy, and pulled right over.

Hobot- im sorry for your loss. I have lost many friends to drugs and alcohol, and the depression that comes hand in hand. A few in crashes, some to suicide. All were good people until the addiction grabbed them. Then they became someone else I didn't know. I bacame someone I didn't know and was on th edge of death when I got my dui. I had lost all will to keep going and didn't care anymore. If it weren't for my family, and a few GOOD friends, I wouldn't be here right now.

I guess we all have lost people, just it all sorta splashed together with my brother Dale. I could be next and pissed off that if I ride no matter how careful something bad could happen. But I'm not living in fear, I officially surrendered Dr.Lic. 16 yr ago to avoid the penalty on insurance and cut any tracking of me in those data bases. Also If I feel lucky or really pissed no Dr. Lic. gives me standing to challenge the whole system soup to nuts to often get dismissed.

Last cop stop was returning at mid night from Barbers race, pulled over for no tail lights, told him I've no lic, and theres locked/loaded auto on the seat, he took gun and non citzen national passport and let me fix fuse, returned property and carry on home.

I know this is keeping the thread off-topic, but I know a few people who kept their sanity because of their bikes. Their bikes represented freedom in a way that a cage on four wheels could never do.

As for the cops...
