BY GOING FASTER! That's the whole REASON for the 2nd engine!!!Just looking at your pix, how does the aft engine get sufficient cooling air?
I'll get pix sometime this weekend (I hope)Hope things are well in TX, I spend a lot of time there. thanks If they are Ack intakes I have 2 pair If not Ack's please send pics I am interested
Street Legal, I HOPE!!what's the goal for the build? is it going to be a drag bike, LSR, or god forbid, street legal?
Yeah, but you are not considering the cool (no pun intended) LOOK of it...Re: Cooling
Sorry, but funnel shaped air scoops will not move or redirect any more air than what would normally pass thru the throat.
...
I know, intuitively, one would expect a funnel to gather air, and deliver a super gush, but physics works by Laws, not intuition.
Yes. But you have the option of fitting a small electrical fan. Besides, once you get up to 60 mph the air will be forced fed into an air scoop, it certainly works on shoveling it into the the inlet manifold - just try it!Re: Cooling

Should one mount a funnel in front, with a tube of diameter equal to the funnel outlet, the air exiting the tube will be of the same volume as if the tube alone were mounted at the front.
I think cooling can be accomplished in this application, by vertical vanes properly placed, to redirect air towards the rear engine.

Slick
That's kind of what I was thinking, electric fan with a thermostat or even just an on / off switch so that when you're going slowly or stopped you could flip it on and get some degree of cooling air passing over the finsYes. Yes it can be done but its not a Norton frame and by the look of it wouldn't be able to be leaned over to much so wouldn't be very good in the twisties.Speaking of Harley transmissions, that's what this guy used in his twin engine Norton, and I've seen a video of him kick starting it.
